Covid 19 - Changes to our practice
The Covid 19 pandemic has had an impact on all of us and will continue to do so for some time to come. We are a very hands on practice and spend the majority of our time in very close proximity to you during your consultation and treatment. We have looked at different aspects of our service delivery to ensure that both you and ourselves remain as safe as we can.
We have outlined below the key areas that we have addressed that we have changed and areas that we would like you the patient to comply with to help us keep you safe.
We will be wearing face masks, visors and protective aprons. We ask that you come wearing a face mask.
We have reduced the number of appointments we are offering to allow time between patients to clean teh treatment room and waiting areas.
Please try and be punctual, not too early and not too late!. We ask that you remain in your vehicle and we will ask you to come in when we are ready for you. In this way we hope to be able to maintain social distancing.
We will ask you to wash your hands in our washroom and there will be hand sanitiser for your use.
We will do a temperature check on you to verify that you are in the normal range.
If you have been in contact with any person with suspected Covid 19 please self isolate for 14 days prior to arranging an appointment. If you have any of the Covid 19 earlry signs i.e. persistent cough, feeling feverish, raised temperature, headaches or loss of taste please self isolate and speak to your doctor. Please do not make an appointment until you have had a test or been given the all clear by your doctor.
On completion of treatment
We are still able to accept cash or personal cheque for your payment but now are able to accept payment by contactless cards. By arrangement payment can also be accepted via on-line banking transfer.
